Mike Watt « Back

Mike's life makes sense again. The Territorial Army have forgiven him for the whole 'tank thing' and welcomed him back with open arms. Once again, he is safe and warm amid the guns and bombs of his beloved Reserve Forces. This renewed acceptance has bolstered his confidence in other areas too. Mike has finally moved out from his mum's house. An invigorated sense of self has given him the strength to slash those apron strings and break out into the world at large; that and an incident with the cat and an air gun. He's staying with Tim until he finds his feet.

Club Name: Mike Le Watt

These descriptions are taken from the Spaced Series 2 press pack. They are probably the best and most in-depth things around, and I don't claim any ownership or copyright of them, and acknowledge that whoever wrote them did a damn good job...
Nick Frost

Nick, originally from Essex, is Simon Pegg's real life best friend. A newcomer to the world of acting, Nick created the persona of roly-poly gun-mad Mike Watt to amuse Simon, who loved the character. Frustrated to see Nick's obvious acting talents going to waste, Simon incorporated the character of Mike into the world of Spaced, as Tim's ever-faithful childhood friend. He then threatened Nick with a carving knife and said, "If you don't appear in our show, I'll cut your nuts up." How could Nick refuse?

As well as Spaced, Nick appeared briefly in Big Train as a builder, and alongside Matt Lucas, David Walliams and Reece Sheersmith in Crazy Johnathans. Since completing the first series of Spaced, Nick has appeared in Black Books with Dylan Moran and Bill Bailey, a television/internet collaboration called Free London and appeared in a commercial for Pizza Hut, directed by Spaced's Edgar Wright.

Nick hosted Channel 5 show Danger! 50,000 Volts! where he regularly found himself in dangerous situations, suffering for his art, in 2002, and since then he's hosted a variety of TV programme's, including Channel 5's "Movie Mistakes Uncovered".
A new series of Danger! 50,000 Volts! (this time Danger! Incoming Attack!) is currently showing on channel 5.
