FANTASTIC
PLASTIC MACHINE - There Must Be An Angel
from the album LUXURY
1999 Bungalow
Ep
2 opens with a bleary eyed Tim waking up to this beauty of a track
by top Japanese loungecore group FPM. It is of course a slinky cover
version of the Eurhythmics No 1, by Annie Lennox and novelty headphone
twat Dave Stewart.
THE
ALL SEEING EYE - The Beat Goes On
from the album PICKLED EGGS & SHERBERT
This classic dance cut (Im beginning to sound like Dave Pearce
here)
accompanies the credits sequence of EP 2 and continues right up
until Daisy get blasted by the light of Tims clean room.
GERT
WILDEN & ORCHESTRA - Blue Mood
from the album SCHULMADCHEN REPORT (Schoolgirl Report)
1996 Crippled Dick Hot Wax Records
This soft porn cheese underscores the 9 and half minutes later
scene when Daisy & Tim have just done the deed of
tidying up.
Crippled Dick Hot Wax is a German label which specialises in re-releasing
incidental music from soft porn movies of the 70s. They first
released the seminal Vampyros Lesbos Sexadelic Dance Party,
while the track used here is from Gert Wildens Schoolgirl
Report which also comes highly recommended. By me, anyhow.
THE
SONS OF SILENCE - Bobby Dazzler
-from the EP BACK ON YOUR HEADS
1998 Leaf
also on the compilation album FSUK3 (Future Sound
of UK)
1998 Ministry Of Sound
This is the chirpy little number that accompanies Daisy
as she bounds up to see Marsha. It then reappears when Tim er...bounds
down to see Brian.
Also
in Ep 2 we have such eclectic nuggets as...
'King
of Rock and Roll' Prefab Sprout.
'The Power of Love' Huey Lewis and the News.
'The Magnificent Seven' Elmer Bernstein
'Centerfold' J Geils Band
'Timewarp' Richard O'Brian
'American Pie' Don McLean
'True' Spandau Ballet
...but
you know these already
